Program Analyst

Job Description:

The Program Analyst serve as advisors to management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of government programs and operations or the productivity and efficiency of the management of Federal agencies or both.

Positions in this series require knowledge of the substantive nature of agency programs and activities; agency missions, policies, and objectives; management principles and processes; and the analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency. As the developmental learning increases, the roles and responsibilities will increase, and more independent work is established.

Job Description:

As a Contracting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in acquiring goods and services for the government from both commercial and non-commercial sources. Assignments may include requirements determination and contract planning, business evaluation and price-cost analysis, negotiation, contract administration, and contract termination. You will ensure that these acquisitions are made at the most reasonable price and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
